Description

Requires fixed wing aircraft 185 for maximum of 80 hours for the period of March 3rd to 20th to complete pre-collaring distribution surveys for the Bluenose-west and Bluenose-east barren ground caribou herds, and pre-collaring distribution survey for boreal woodland caribou in the Sahtu region. Outer limits of survey area (approximation) will range from Paulatuk to Kugluktuk, Ft. Good Hope district to Wrigley to Rae Lakes. Company must be able to fly in Sathu, Inuvialuit, Gwich'in, Deh Cho and North Slave settlement regions/areas (please provide authorization). Survey line to be flown 1000-2000 ft. above ground level Approx. 100mph on transect, faster on ferrying trips
