The Yellowknife Health and Social Services Authority (YHSSA) is requesting
proposals from qualified proponents to operate a home in Yellowknife, Northwest
Territories that will provide daily care for youth ranging in age from 12 to 16
years old. The successful proponent will be required to provide daily care to
four (4) youth of one (1) gender for a period of time ranging from one (1) day
to six (6) months.

The successful proponent will provide a family to care
and support the youth (on-site) on a 24 hour-basis, seven (7) days per week,
with additional evening and overnight staffing to support children with complex
needs; assist with care; facilitate the involvement of these children in
activities in the community; and provide respite to the primary caregivers.
