The Yellowknife Health and Social Services Authority (YHSSA) is requesting
proposals from qualified contractors to operate an eight (8) bed foster home
providing care for children ranging in age from infancy to 18 years old. The
contractor will be required to care and support children on a 24 hour-basis, 7
days per week, with additional evening and overnight staffing to support
children with complex needs; assist with care; facilitate the involvement of
these children in activities in the community; and provide respite to the
primary caregivers. Additional information regarding the duties and
