The objective of the study is to build on the 2001 report titled, “Aeronautical
Market Study for the NWT”, to define the market and carrier interest in making
a NWT/Europe/Asia connection. The review will quantify potential demand,
carriers, volumes and products. The study should also identify possible
freight markets that might take advantage of polar trade routes.
