The long term goal is to establish an information system for the GNWT to issue
permits, licenses and other instruments. This RFP is for the Preliminary
Analysis portion of that project.

The LISIN system will cover three major
categories: Wildlife Harvesting Licenses, Wildlife Permits, and Services
Licenses. The LISIN system is intended to include text and numerical
information on many of the authorizations issued by the departments. A
comprehensive list of instruments to be included in the LISIN system is
appended below. It will also include general receipt numbers associated with
each license for the purposes of establishing revenues associated with
instrument issuances.
