Maintenance and Enhancement of NT GoMap Web Application

The NT GoMap system is a PHP/Mapserver/Oracle-based web application built in
2006, linked to the existing PHP/Oracle Gateway web application. Together with
our website at www.nwtgeoscience.ca, they act as our primary means of
interaction with the public for providing discovery and delivery of scientific
reports and maps. The NT GoMap web application requires ongoing maintenance
and enhancement to improve performance and level of service to our client
base.

NTGO has standardized on Windows 2003 Server as the operating system,
network, and domain controller, IIS 6 for website hosting, and PHP and
Mapserver along with various standards based web technologies such as
Javascript and JSP for our web application programming environment.
The
Contractor shall perform the following to the satisfaction of the Departmental
Representative:

1. Provide the NT GoMap working group with access to a
web-based tracking system for logging and managing issues during testing and
usage, and monitor it daily.

2. Address maintenance and enhancement issues
in order of priority as identified in the Detailed Deliverables
section.

3. Participate in weekly conference calls with the Departmental NT
GoMap working group to review project progress, manage bug fixes and issues.


4. Make two onsite visits to meet with the Departmental NT GoMap working
group to review project progress, manage bug fixes and issues.

5. Perform
the following practices throughout the project:
a) professional version
management;
b) change documentation;
c) adhere to standards of programming
and procedures already established for the web application.
