The 2005-2008 Framework for Action commits ENR to undertake public consultation
in 2007 to identify additional (other than beverage containers) waste types for
recovery. Given the positive response to the recently introduced Beverage
Container Program and the demonstrated willingness of NWT residents to
participate in waste recovery and recycling programs, ENR requires a qualified
contractor to investigate the feasibility and practicability of collecting and
recycling other materials and items from across the NWT. For more information
