Description
The Government of the Northwest Territories has determined specific hearings at which it will present on specific topics. These presentations require a variety of GNWT program managers and experts to develop written evidence, a powerpoint presentation, and preliminary question and answers related to the submissions of other interveners. Training of GNWT personnel is required to ensure a consistent and common standard of preparation of evidence and to prepare select staff for cross-examination of evidence. In particular, GNWT staff require an understanding of “final recommendations” and the subsequent approval process of the JRP Report and application in regulatory authorizations.
