Description
The Government of the Northwest Territories, Department of Justice, is inviting proposals from qualified proponents interested in providing legal advice for the NWT Legal Services Board (“LSB”) Brydges program. The Legal Services Board of the Northwest Territories provides legal aid services to residents of the NWT pursuant to the Legal Services Act and Legal Services Regulations. The NWT LSB provides Brydges services to persons who: • are under arrest or detained by the RCMP; and • are not yet charged with an offence but are under active investigation by the RCMP and in need of emergency advice.
